You’ll find here a condensed version of everything new in MacPay+ sorted according to your current version. Please choose if you are a current Standard or Business version user.
You gain will be massive because MacPay+ is based on the Business version. Especially if your bank is part of the connected banks list you will see a very important functionality gain at a very attractive price.
Invoices filing | MacPay+ sports a second window where your scanned or download invoices are displayed as PDF documents. As a private citizen, this enables you to leave your old binders in the past and reduce administrative clutter while improving your ability to see your financial history.
Direct uploading of payments | MacPay+ can connect directly to some banks and transfer your payments. It is faster, safer and more comfortable than old style file uploads..
Downloads of account informations | While uploading (or at anytime), MacPay+ can download from the bank all your account informations and documents and update your balance. It becomes a mirror of what you had to look for on line and presents it to you in a familiar interface.
Share your data on your network or in the Cloud | MacPay+ is able to access data on home servers or Cloud solutions. Family members or professional users can than share the same set of information.
Updated user interface | Everything received a makeover geared for simplicity and efficiency: icons have been redesigned baks are identified by their logos, menus have been restructured and major flexibility built in everywhere.
Easier input | Payments now sport a detailed status, can be filtered according to execution date and made to recur like a calendar event. Currencies convernsion is automatic to allow global CHF sums display. New payments input or received during the current session are displayed in bold to ease quick identification in a long list.
Recurring payments | Any payment can be made recurring so that it will reappear in the list according to the chosen frequency. It replaces a permanent bank order and is very handy for salaries, for example.
Revisited archives | Different display capabilities of the archive pane have been clarified and made more explicit as they were under used. Graphics have been redesigned. Executed payments can now be exported to Excel.
Better accounting exports | A new VAT field has been introduced and all accounting data can now be displayed as columns too. A new direct and transparent data share has been engineered with MacCompta Pro from DailySoft.
Flexible preferences | Unused binders can now be hidden if necessary. Unused accounts can now be deactivated so that they don’t update during each bank connection.
Exportable bookings | Bookings can be exported to Excel giving you a fast way towards detailed analysis of your finance.
E-documents | E-documents are now downloaded form the bank if available. They are filed and archived in MacPay+ directly so that you know where to find them when needed (hint: tax return time).
E-bills | You can now get the best from both worlds with E-bills and MacPay+. If your creditor is affiliated to e-bills and you have a PostFinance account, why not mix e-bills subscription and MacPay+: get your bills directly into MacPay+, PDF included by downloading from PostFinance and pay them with your normal scanned bills.
New print layouts | List printing has been retooled to better take into accounts multiple columns and formats.
VAT return help | You can now export directly all elements you need for your quarterly VAT return: paid invoices, payment orders, bank statements and credit/debit advices will all be exported in an orderly manner with a single click.
ISO 20022 compatibility | MacPay+ prepares for the big change in the Swiss banking world. This will happen for MacPay+ users free of charge according to the official migration calendar.
macOS evolution | Things are getting fast at Apple and MacPay+ has been throughly updated to enable integration of new technologies and ensure better compatibility with recent macOS evolutions. This has been achieved by the new requirement of min macOS 10.10 for now. The requirement will change with every major OS release: when Apple will release macOS 10.13, MacPay+ requirement will be pushed up to macOS 10.11 and so on. Security considerations are also at play here.
Double licence | MacPay+ now benefits from online activation on our servers. The new licence is now valid for two activations. A proper account on our shop enables this feature and allow users to manage their activations directly.
MacPay+ is based on MacPay Business and will be immediately familiar. You will however soon notice how more polished, confort and efficiency oriented is MacPay+. Mostly thanks to you as the changes reflect most of your comments and requests over the years since the latest major redesign release
